The Service
Social Syllabus provides social media management, content days, in-studio shoots, memberships, and VA & admin support for beauty and aesthetics small businesses. The specific scope of your work is confirmed in the quote or proposal I send before we start.
Quotes and Proposals
Prices on the services page are starting points. Your final proposal is confirmed in writing before any work begins, and no work starts until you've approved it. Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT unless stated.
Bookings
Content days and studio shoots are booked on a first-come, first-served basis and held once confirmed. Memberships and ongoing management run on a 6-month rolling programme and can be paused or ended after the agreed notice period.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel or reschedule a shoot, I ask for as much notice as possible. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a charge to cover the held time. Ongoing retainer work can be stopped with 30 days' written notice.
Content and Copyright
Content created for you is produced for your business and can be used across your own channels. I may use a selection of work in my own portfolio unless you ask me not to. Copyright in the finished work transfers to you on payment; raw footage and drafts remain with me unless agreed otherwise.
Your Responsibilities
You confirm you have the right to share anything you provide for use in content (logos, imagery, testimonials, and client photos with consent). If I'm filming on-site at your salon or studio, you're responsible for arranging consent for anyone who appears in the content.
Limitation of Liability
I'll always act with skill and care, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability under any agreement is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Intellectual Property
The Social Syllabus brand, site content, and any templates or processes I share remain my intellectual property. You don't need to license them from me — just hire me to do the work.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
